Crappy Crab at 8:37 PMGreat disappointment today. Went to House of Seafood at 180 Yio Chu Kang Road. Wasted 110 bucks on 2 crab and a plate of veg. I tried their salted egg crab a year a go and I think from then on, I loves crabs. And also got myself hooked to the Creamy crab and fried bun at Melben! Standards at House of Seafood had dropped tremendously. Everything sucks. Environment, services, most importantly, their crabs. If you are a crab lover, you will know that Salted egg crab can be serve in dry or wet right? Depend on the chef cooking style. So does creamy crab. So different outlets served differently. A year ago when I visited House of Seafood, their salted egg crab are served dry with thick and crispy layered of... 'flour'? (Before it is fried its flour, after that?) Today, it became a little wet, and no thick layer of flour!?!!??!? They charged me for towels and peanuts, which they did not serve! $2.00 you know?! $2 is not alot, of cause I know. But cheating is cheating! My fault too, I did not check the bill. It was just a not so satisfaction day. Should stick to my Melben ;) Bye |
